WHAT IS FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE TESTING?

Updated: Jun 6

Unlike conventional labs where results are compared to the averages of our country's declining health metrics, Functional Medicine Testing informs you about key metrics of your health in comparison to a functional or optimal level. Functional testing identifies imbalances out of range for optimal health and educates the individual of the root cause to their health challenges. It gives a deep look into what is happening inside the body, rather than just looking at the symptoms, or messages your body is signaling of imbalances. Functional testing measures the function of the messengers, including gut health, hormone levels, stress levels, mineral levels, nutrient levels, detoxification function and more. The results often fill in the gaps with the missing pieces to the puzzles, providing you with greater insight into your health challenges and the actions to take to rebalance and get back to feeling like YOU! Please note this form of testing is not used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any physiological or mental disease or disorder.
